Collective Representation & Lobbying
The BGIA represents its members as the unified voice of the industry on a variety of issues affecting member companies in the UK, EU and worldwide. The BGIA provides regular information on matters affecting the industry through its links with the R&A, PGA, EG, Sport England, UKGF and the APPG for Golf.
All BGIA members can use the BGIA logo. BGIA membership signifies professional competence and performance, adding value and credibility to your business. Members also receive a monthly BGIA newsletter and enjoy promotion through the BGIA website.
The BGIA provides regular statistical information to all full members which is worth approximately £5,000. The dashboard research contains a market audit overview and rounds played (quarterly), golf player and product attitude and usage (annual) and club membership update (bi-annual) to assist in analysing market trends.
BGIA members have access to export grants of up to £2,500 through the Department for International Trade. Grants are available to eligible member companies who wish to exhibit at overseas events.
