The British Golf Industry Association is delighted that England Golf have appointed golf industry leader Jeremy Tomlinson as their new Chief Executive Officer.
Incoming BGIA Chair, Martin Wild, says: “I have had the pleasure of knowing Jeremy for some considerable time, both as a competitor and also a colleague on the BGIA Executive Board. His knowledge of the game and the industry are priceless assets to England Golf.
“His experience in the golf industry – working for Callaway and subsequently as Managing Director at Titleist – mean that he is ideally placed to shape the future direction of England Golf.
“Jeremy has an unrivalled and deep knowledge of all aspects of the game, from his involvement in golf’s development in schools, as a Golf Foundation trustee and as a county player and club volunteer.
“The BGIA have some exciting new plans in the pipeline for 2020. Jeremy and I both share a passion to grow the game of golf and I look forward to meeting with him in the New Year to discuss some of the initiatives the BGIA are currently considering.”
